Welcome to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh! The aviation world has totally landed at Wittman Regional Airport, and the vibe is just incredible. Seriously, from the mind-blowing airshows to all the cool exhibits and that pure passion for flight buzzing everywhere, there's really nothing else like it. I am excited to be a part of this amazing gathering again!

I will be at AirVenture this year on Friday and then again on Saturday. I am really looking forward to checking out the vintage planes, catching some of those insane aerobatic displays, and just enjoying that unique Oshkosh atmosphere.

Speaking of the atmosphere, let's talk about the actual atmosphere – the weather! The weather this year will be interesting. We're kicking things off with extreme heat, and there are even heat advisories in surrounding areas. The high today (Tuesday) will be 85 degrees with 78% humidity, climbing to 92 degrees on Wednesday with a still relatively high 77% humidity. Thursday and Friday will cool back down a little to low 80 degrees, but like every year, thunderstorms are forecasted.

In general, it seems that we might have lucked out a little this year because there have been thunderstorms in the area, but they are mostly passing by a little north of KOSH. It’s MVFR even as I type this message.
