Off to the Compliance Lab!

After getting enough confidence from my own basic pre-compliance bench testing, I reached out to a few US-based labs. As I mentioned in the last update, quotes and testing scopes varied quite a bit, but I found one that offered the exact coverage PaperMETAR needs.

As luck would have it, they had an opening within a week so I had to scramble to get a prototype packaged and shipped out immediately.

The lab received the unit last Friday and active testing is already underway. Early feedback from the test engineer was very positive, and PaperMETAR seems to be holding up well so far. It will take a few more days to wrap up the test suites and interpret the full dataset.

Until then, I'll be anxiously waiting for the final report... and channeling that nervous energy into the box design.
