PaperMETAR Firmware v0.6.5 & iOS App Update Now Live - Better Battery, Faster Boot, and New Trivia

Firmware version 0.6.5 is now live in the stable branch! If you have a PaperMETAR, here is what you can look forward to in this update.

Expanded Quiz Feature & Improved Jumpseater Comments

I have added new question categories covering weather phenomena, precipitation, and intensity, bringing the total to 17 categories. I have also tuned the logic to reduce repetition in both questions and personality comments.

Performance & Power Improvements

• Extended Battery Life: Significantly reduced power usage by optimizing how and when WiFi is used.
• Faster Connections: Improved "fast connect" logic helps your device get online quicker.
• Quicker Boot: Adjusted NTP settings that fetch time to significantly improve startup in some scenarios.

iOS App Update

I also updated the iOS companion app to version 0.6.5. This version introduces support for Jumpseaters in both new device setup and configuration modes.
